The first time I ever considered a career in film was in 2010.

I was at my friends house. She had been in a car accident where someone had t-boned her car. She had a broken leg and was bored, trapped at home on her couch.

So I dropped in to visit. There wasn’t much to do but sit on the couch and play on her laptop. She introduced me to Portal (still love that game), and then after we started talking about our futures. We had just finished our freshman year of college. I was studying…I think journalism, I changed my major several times that year. Maybe broadcast journalism. She was doing something related to English. She started pulling up writers programs, and of all things, pulled up the website for Pixar. They had some internships for screenwriting. She started showing me the facility and talking about the program.

and even though up until that point I was gearing for photography, that sounded like the perfect path for me.
